The Kooples Heading Stateside

PARIS—I popped into The Kooples on rue St. Honore after Valentino this afternoon to try and find something to wear to tonight’s Crazy Horse revue and cheap coach bags, like everyone in Paris, the sales clerk wanted to guess where I was from.

Spain? No.  Russia? No.  “New York cheap coach bags!” I said.  “Ah cheap coach bags! New York! We love New York!”

Turns out he wasn’t just speaking for himself, but for the brand.  He said the store’s set to open up shop in both New York and Los Angeles in “the next couple of months.”  No word yet on where cheap coach bags, but given the excitement over Paris’ most recent imports—Sandro and Maje—we can only imagine the excitement with which the official announcement will be met.
